Managing Director, Williams and Kettle, 45 years service, Retired.

 

Passed peacefully, with family at his side, on December 4, 2013, in his 90th year.

Loved husband of Joan. Much loved father and father-in-law of Bruce and Margaret, and Jackie and Mark. Adored grandfather of Joanna, Robert, Rebecca, and Jessica, and great grandfather to Hugo, and Scarlett.

A heartfelt thanks for the wonderful care and support given to Bob and Joan by staff and friends at Princess Alexandra Retirement Village. Also to all the staff at Ward A1, HB Regional Hospital for their exceptional care.

A celebration of Bob’s life was held in St. John’s Anglican Cathedral, Browning Street, Napier on Monday December 9. Tributes may be left at our website www.dunstalls.co.nz. Or posted to the Rolls Family, c/- PO Box 1055, Napier 4140.

Dear Joan, Bruce and Margaret and Jackie and Mark and families
Please accept our deepest sympathy at the passing of Bob.
He will be sadly missed.
Bob was a legend during his time with Williams & Kettle and was very much appreciated and respected.
We deeply regret that due to other commitments we are unable to attend Bob's funeral and once again offer our condolences at your time of loss.

Hi Bobbob

Not many people get to know their great granddad and I feel very lucky that I did. Thank you for being such a great great granddad! I loved coming to visit you & Nanny in Napier. Thank you for taking me
- to swim & float down my first river
- to pick strawberries & eat incredible strawberry ice-cream
- to go down the huge slides at water bomb park
- and to the AWESOME skatepark to watch me do tricks on my scooter

I loved being with you and Nanny and I will miss you.
