On July 3, 2014 peacefully at Hampton Court, Napier, with his daughters by his side. In his 94 th year. Dearly loved husband of the late Frances and loved father of Faith and Justine and the late Timothy and Martin, and friend of Peter.

Requiescat in Pace.

Requiem Mass was celebrated at St Patrick’s Church, Munroe Street, Napier on Tuesday July 8 2014.   

In Lieu of flowers a donation to The Cystic Fibrosis Association of N.Z. may be posted to PO Box 8241 Christchurch.

To Faith and Justine - on behalf of the Napier RSA members please accept our sincerest condolences for the sad loss of your Dad on 3rd July.
Joe made a great contribution to the country for his service and he was very highly respected by all those that knew him
I had the pleasure of visiting him on a few occasions at his Latham St home a few years back and have fond memories of wonderful man. RIP Joe

Joe was my late husband's favourite uncle, in fact Joe was another father to Philip. they had a close relationship, mostly over the phone in latter years.They had worked together and had many common friends and interests and of course Joe always swopped a winning tip with Philip. A lovely man at peace.
