On 10 th August 2014 at H.B.Hospital with Whiu by his side.

Loved son of Gabrielle and Norman. Loved brother of Murray, Malcom, Christopher and Bevan and Michelle. A long time member of the WIT family.

Loved and never forgotten.

A Memorial Service for Errol was celebrated at The Dunstall Memorial Chapel,

Edwardes Street Napier, on Monday 18 August 2014.

I have many memories of Errol whilst nursing him during his stays at the Inpatient Unit over the past years. One such fond memory was teaching him the word "Balderdash" which he would say in his unique dramatic ,drawn out voice. Looking back - this was probably 15 or 20 years ago. I had a soft spot for Errol with his 16 piercings just in 1 ear.He was a naive young man then .( 0n second thoughts it might well have been more than 20 years ago !) Times were different then within the Unit and in the community. You will be remembered for a long time Errol by all nurses . You'll go down in history that's for sure. xx

Farewell Errol, you were a trail blazer, the first person to live independently with WIT support, I have lots of happy memories of our morning teas together in your house in Milton Road, you certainly valued your independence and well done. I have often told others of your savings with your GP, by putting a few dollars into your GP account every week, you had money for xmas…

Errol was a much loved member of the WIT family since the very beginning. He was a larger than life character whom we all loved and whose company we all enjoyed. He will be greatly missed by us all at WIT and we hope he is now well and happy in a much better place.
