Passed away peacefully on June 17, 2015, aged 85. Loved husband of Cynthia and the late Helen, father and father-in-law of Joanne and Murray, Fraser and Judy. Loved Grandfather of Daniel and Cath, Reuben and Kim, Jessamy and Jerry, Romay and Steve, Ben. Great Grandfather of ten. Step-father of Jill, Neil, Wendy and Donald, loved John of Dylan, Jordan and Phil, Casey and Hayden, Chelsea and Paul, Jessica and Matt, Zane, Jaime. Brother and brother-in-law of Gordon (deceased) and Beth, Gilbert and Mary.

A service for John was held at St. Columba’s Presbyterian Church, Gloucester Street, Taradale on Saturday June 20, at 11.00am. John’s family warmly thank the staff at Colwyn House for their care and love given to John.

I had the great privilege of being a pupil of Frank (Mr.Ennor to me) at Onekawa primary in the 1960s. He was a truly wonderful teacher and man who had a very lasting impact on me. I am so so sorry to hear of his passing
