Passed away peacefully after a long illness so bravely fought at HBRH on August 19, 2015. Aged 71 years. Treasured husband, soulmate and best friend of Eve. Very much loved Dad of Stuart and Jackie, Maria, Dion and Deb, Dave and Shelly, and Jo. Dearly loved grandad of Pita, Hemi, Kirstey, Ryan, Petara, Jon-Lee, Cory, Luke, Emma, Kirsten, Seth and Carlos. Dearly loved brother of Colleen, Peter, Paul and their families. Special friend of Jilly and Pauline.
Thank you to Dr Hawkins Tamatea Medical Centre for his dedication to John’s care. Cranford Hospice for their wonderful support over the years. Mary-ann and her wonderful team at Tamatea Pharmacy, St John’s Ambulance, Fr Bill and Mavis for their support. Kim for her loving care of John. Our heartfelt thanks to you all.
John lay at the family home 9 Coventry Ave, Tamatea until his funeral service which was held at St Luke’s Anglican Church, Vigor Brown Street, Napier on Monday August 24, 2015 at 2pm. Followed by a private cremation. In lieu of flowers a donation to Cranford Hospice would be appreciated and can be left via www.cranfordhospice.org.nz

John was a loving, caring, gentle soul, who was loved by all who knew him, He will be missed so very much. R.I.P. our loved one.
