Passed away peacefully at Princess Alexandra Private Hospital, on October 24, 2015, aged 87 years. Beloved husband of Elsie. Loved father of Doug, Kath, Valerie, June, the late Brian and their families. He will be sadly missed by his 15 grandchildren and many great grandchildren.

Special thanks for all the care and support he received during his two and a half years at Princess Alexandra, who continue to provide wonderful support to our loving Mum Elsie.

A memorial service to celebrate Doug’s life was held at the Maraenui Golf Club House, Te Awa Avenue, Napier, on Friday, November 6 at 2.00pm.

In lieu of flowers a donation in Doug’s memory to Cranford Hospice would be appreciated by his family and can be left via www.cranfordhospice.org.nz
