Passed away on 7 January 2016.  A loved husband, friend throughout life, and soul mate of Cherie.  Much loved Dad of Natalie, Nicole and Jo. Father in law to Gareth and the late Rob. Cherished Poppa G to Aimee, Katie and Keaton.  Loved and respected brother and uncle of Margaret and David. 

We will miss him filling our lives with music, ship building, sports and giggles . 

A celebration of Fred’s life was held in the Dunstall Memorial Chapel, Edwardes Street, Napier, on Wednesday, 13 January 2016, at 12 noon, followed by a private interment at the Western Hills Cemetery. Our deepest sympathy to you Cherie and your family on your loss of a loved husband and father. I will always remember Fred for his brilliant style as a tennis and Badminton player of great talent His courtesy and friendliness both on and off the court were much admired. Unfortunately other commitments prevent us from being at his farewell today.
