Sadly passed away on July 14, 2016. Cherished wife of the late Fred Girvan. Dearly loved mother of Natalie Pitcher, Nicole and Joanne. Loved mother-in-law of Gareth Dunne and the late Rob Pitcher. Adored Nana of Aimee, Katie, and Keaton.

We will forever remember her sense of fun, adventurous spirit and kind nature.

A service to celebrate Cherie’s life on Thursday July 21, 2016 at The Dunstall Memorial Chapel, Edwardes Street, Napier at 11am. Followed by a private interment. Tributes may be left at our website www.dunstalls.co.nz . Or posted to the Girvan Family, c/- PO Box 1055, Napier 4140.

I have fond memories of Cherie when I was young growing up in Nuffield Ave. Cherie was the glamorous girl in the neighbourhood, always looked beautiful and had a kind hearted nature. Her mother was affectionately known to us kids as Aunty Kit. May she Rest in Peace :)

Goodbye to such a beautiful lady and loyal friend. I will always remember Cherie for her lovely smile, her calm personality, and her caring and kindness. My thoughts are with her family.
