TAYLOR, Joan

Passed away on 11 th September 2016 aged 98 years.

Much loved wife of Alister ( Sas) Taylor (deceased) and Ernest (Jock) Manning (deceased). Beloved mother of Richard and Clare (deceased), Chris and Yvonne, and Adrian (deceased) and Julie. Treasured Nana and Great Nana to all her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Special thanks to management and staff at Roseanne Retirement Home.

Requiem Mass for Joan was celebrated at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, Munroe St, Napier on Thursday, 15 th September at 12.05pm, followed by interment at Wharerangi Cemetery. I am sorry to hear of the passing of Joan. Joan and my mother, Patricia David, were great friends and unfortunately I live in Australia and am unable to attend her funeral.

After mum's funeral I kept in contact with Joan and when I visited Napier just recently in August, my husband Michael and I took her out for lunch.

I will miss talking to her and again my sympathy is with you all at this time.
