Completed his pilgrimage and passed into the hands of our Lord, surrounded by his loving family.

Son of Rosalie and Bill.

Dearly loved husband of Gail. Father of Andrew, Michael and Paul. Grandad of Joshua, Emily and Oliver. Great Grandfather of Rosa and Leo. Father in law of Aroha and Gayle. Special friend of Kate and Josh.

A celebration of Richard’s life was held at All Saints Anglican Church, 23 Puketapu Road, Taradale, Napier on Monday September 26, 2016 at 11am, followed by a private cremation.

In lieu of flowers a donation to Leukaemia and Blood Cancer New Zealand was accepted.

At Peace At Last

Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. We remember some very special times with you when we were all together in Taradale. We are currently touring National Parks in the States so will not be there on Monday.

Be assured of our warm aroha and prayers as you grieve for Richard.
Richard was a Christian and priest who used his many talents and energy to the full in the service of Christ. He was willing in more recent years to explore non-stipended ministry in new ways - not least in the bicultural field, in the Mission to Seafarers, and in supporting lay leadership and seekers through Cursillo. His warmth of personality and sense of fun stood alongside his serious thinking and study in all he undertook.
Take care of yourselves as you support others at this time May the rich love and faith you shared together be of renewed strength to you in the days ahead.
