Passed peacefully at HB Regional Hospital on October 3, 2016 aged 88 years, with family by her side. Beloved wife of Neville. Loving mother and mother-in-law of John and Colleen, Michael and Daniela, Kevin (deceased) and Yvonne, David and Jan, Michele and John McCarthy. Dearest Grandma to her twelve grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
A heartfelt thanks to all the Hospital staff who cared for Val.
Requiem Mass was celebrated at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Osier Road, Greenmeadows on Friday, October 7, 2016 at 11am followed by interment at the Western Hills Cemetery. Rosary was recited in the Church on Thursday, October 6 at 7pm. A donation in Val’s memory to the St. Vincent de Paul Society was collected.
