Passed away peacefully at Princess Alexandra Village after 90 years of a full and wonderful life. Beloved wife of the late Gordon William.  Daughter of Henry and Fanny Edwards and sister of John.  Much loved mother of Rodger and Leslie and treasured mother-in-law of Jan and Liz. Adored and loved Gran of David, Emma, Steven, Alex, and Alicia.

At peace after a battle fought with dignity and courage.

A very special thanks to all the staff at Princess Alexandra for their wonderful care and support.

In accordance with Dorothy’s wishes a service was held at the Waiapu Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist, Browning Street, Napier on December 27, 2016 at 1 pm, followed by a private cremation. In lieu of flowers a donation to Cranford Hospice can be left at the service or via www.cranfordhospice.org.nz
