On 4 th July 2017 at Princess Alexandra Retirement Village, Napier, aged 91 years.

Much loved wife of Michael, dearly loved wife of the late David Holt and Walter Dougall. Treasured Mother and Mother in law of Christabel and Paul Handley, Rosemary and Denis Bell, Anne and Graham Maclaurin, and the late Freddie. Step Mother of Anne and Hanson Averill and Chris and Jan Kay. Cherished Rudi of her grandchildren David, Joanna, Sam, and Will Handley; Robbie, Maryanne, Louise, and Richard Bell; Kirsty, Susan, Caroline, Jacqueline, and Matthew Maclaurin, and her 22 great grandchildren.

A heartfelt thank you to the staff at Princess Alexandra for all their care and kindness to Ruth.

A service to celebrate Ruth’s life was held at the Eskdale Memorial Church on Monday, July 10, 2017 at 1.00pm.

Followed by interment at the Eskdale Cemetery.
