Aged 87 years.

Passed peacefully with family present.  Beloved wife of Gene (deceased). Beloved mother and mother-in-law of Keith and Wendy, Elaine (deceased), Mariee and Brian, Andre and Nicole, and Marcel. Beloved Ouma to Rhoda and Albert, Grace, Katie, Alex, Tamar and Elijah, and Elisha, and beloved Great Ouma to Laura, and AJ. Friend of David Newton.

A special thanks to the staff at Gladys Mary Rest Home for their love and care of Dulcie.

A funeral service for Dulcie was held in The Dunstall Memorial Chapel, Edwardes Street, Napier on Tuesday July 11, 2017 at 2pm.

Firstly my apology for not physically attending the funeral. I first met Dulcie when she came to Gladys Mary. She was happy, she said she couldn't see very well. She had these cards in her walker; with huge numbers on. So she could ring if neccessary. We talked a lot in those days. She showed me her Defence Force medal, and that lovely painting of her South African home.Time, disease, and old age finally catching her out. A short time ago - my son David, saying we knew the family when residing in James Foley Ave.He going to school with Andre and Marc.Well I think you all are staunch.
