Passed away peacefully at Taradale Masonic Private Hospital on July 31, 2017, aged 83 years.

Loved wife of the late Jim. Loved mother of James and grandmother of Claudia.

Loved sister of Beryl Webber (Nelson), Jim Eddy (Christchurch), and Elizabeth Halberg (Nelson).

Loved aunty of Leanne, Rachael, and Scott Green; Sarah Church, Matthew, and Brent Eddy.

Thank you to the staff at Cranford Hospice and Taradale Masonic for the care and support given to Lillian and her family.

A celebration of Lillian’s life was held at St. Columba’s Presbyterian Church, Gloucester Street, Taradale, on Thursday, August 3 at 2.00pm followed by interment at the Western Hills Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers a donation in Lillian’s memory to Cranford Hospice would be appreciated and can be left at the service or via www.cranfordhospice.org.nz

Dear James, Beryl, Jim, Elizabeth and Families
I was very sorry to receive Philips phone call on Tuesday telling me that Lillian had passed away. Please accept our kind thoughts and sympathy. I have fond memories of family gatherings at Levin and Napier I also remember Lillian and Jim visiting our family at Raglan. It was lovely catching up with Lillian a few years ago when Murray and I spent a few days in Napier.

Our loving thoughts go out to all the family at this very sad time. Aunty Lillian still shines like a bright star in our hearts and always will. We are sorry we could not be with you at the funeral. Hi James and Claudia
I just wanted to pass on my sympathy to you both for your loss of your mum and grandmother. I have very fond memories of Aunt Lillian. She was always cheerful and passionate about her singing, bridge and her clothes. Although we didn't see her lots, when we did she was always bubbly and full of life. I will always smile when I think of her. My thoughts are with you both at this time.
