Suddenly taken in a motorvehicle accident in Portland, Oregon, USA on June 9, 2018, aged 22 years.

Much loved son of Fiona and Grant. Dearly loved brother of Sarah and Hannah. Adored Grandson of Grandpa Michael, and Nana Jean.

‘Giving it a go’

A formal party to say farewell to Jamie was held at the Henry Hill School Hall, Dick Place, Onekawa, on Saturday, June 30, 2018 at 10.30am followed by private cremation.

In lieu of flowers a donation in Jamie’s memory to Organ Donation New Zealand was appreciated. A tribute to Jamie or messages to his family can be left at www.dunstalls.co.nz or C/- PO Box 1055, Napier, 4140.

It’s been a short but amazing time you had on this Earth, Jamie. You created beautiful memories for all those who had the privilege to know you. We’re so sorry we didn’t get to meet you! Sleep tight!

Dear Family of Jamie & Hannah,

I had the luck to meet and live with Jamie in Manchester. Even though I only got to know him recently, the surprising and sad message of his passing away touched me a lot. I got to know Jamie as a person who loved and lived his life, very open minded, always with a smile on his face. He enjoyed every second and took his chances, therefore, I will keep him in my mind as inspiration.
I am very sorry for your loss and wish you strenght in the next weeks.

Although I didn't live with Jamie for long we became very good friends very quickly, I was sad when he moved out and heartbroken to hear the news. He was such a fun, kind, interesting and all around fantastic person.
Myself and everyone he lived with in Manchester will sorely miss him.
We wish we were able to make the trip to NZ to join the celebration of his life, our thoughts are with his loved ones.

Hi Fiona, Grant, Sarah & Hannah,
So very sad to hear of Jamie's tragic passing - he was such a lovely young man. I have been thinking of you guys heaps over the last 10 days & just want to send you my heart felt condolences.
