Loved wife of the late David James Martin.

Loved sister of the late Bert, Frank, and Reg. Loving Aunt of her nieces and nephews.

A funeral service for Betty was held at Trinity Methodist Church, 35 Clive Square East, Napier on Saturday, 24 th June 2023 at 11am. Followed by interment at Wharerangi Cemetery. Messages to Betty’s family C/- PO Box 1055, Napier, 4140.

Aunty Betty was a constant in our lives. Even though I have lived in Australia for just on fifty one years we were always in regular touch. On my few trips back to New Zealand we always visited her and she and Uncle David visited when they came to Australia. She is now where she belongs, with the love of her life and her beloved DJ. Rest in peace Aunty Betty I will miss you and updating you on my little family.

Aunty Betty (and her camera!) were always at our family gatherings. She took photos that are now a treasured reminder of how things were when we were all younger and show the growth of the next generation.
She was a constant in our lives and showed love and support in her own special ways.
Aunty Betty will be missed.
