Claudine has always held a special place in our hearts. Claudine worked for us at Mr Rentals and we will be forever grateful for her help and compassion, as she supported us through a few of the toughest of times in our lives. We loved her extremely funny humour (often irreverent),beaming smile and her determination to make her an Ashleigh's life the best she could. Fun loving, hard working, loyal and honest with an infectious laugh I remember so well, like when she presented Andrew with a pair of sparkling horns to wear when her petty cash was not balancing again.
Fly well my dear friend and may the wonderful memories of Claudine be of comfort to Ashleigh, Glen, Noah, Leo and all that loved you.

Harry was my best mate, for awhile there - til being a ‘girl’ became awkward. Remember the van you had in the backyard sometimes? Was it a book mobile? I loved ‘playing’ out there with you/while you worked. Thank you for being such a cherished Aunty, for taking in all us Faloonies and treating us like your own. For giving my mum a break. You are sooo loved, and will be missed forever. Ching.

A life filled with Love & Laughter, Family & Friends
Passed away unexpectedly but peacefully on the 1 March 2025.
A much-loved Wife of David Sunnex, Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother. Val was the heart and soul of her Family and the life of every gathering.
Val will be at home Wednesday 5 and Thursday the 6 of March, welcoming anyone who wishes to pay their respects and say goodbye. A farewell service will be held at the Taradale R.S.A at 11am on 7 March.
A livestream will be available through Dunstalls. In lieu of flowers, Val's preference was donations to support Cranford Hospice. As a family we would like to extend our heartfelt appreciation for the excellent care and support she received from all at the Hastings Hospital.

I was lucky enough to be introduced to both Val and Dave at the Taradale Rsa 4 or 5 years ago.
I would often join Val for a chat and a laugh over a glass of wine.
From time to time both Owen and I would join them also at the country Music clubs in both Napier and Hastings.
I will miss our Texts Val.
You will be sadly missed by many.

Dear Rex, Linda, Alan, Stephen, Debbie, Nigel, Michael and their partners.
On behalf of myself, my brothers John and Russell and my wife Janet (Jan) please accept our condolences on the loss of your mother Jewell.
When we moved into our house at 79 Barker Rd in early 1952 when I was 6 years old, and during my 17 years growing up there Jewell, Bert and family were our best ever neighbours , including as well Sandra, Rex, and then you younger ones. Jewell must've only been about 25 herself in 1952, and she was always cheery and friendly and forgiving even when as teenagers John and I together with our mates played fully amped up music in my bedroom on your side of our house.
I also remember as a youngster driving (I think) Debbie up to hospital with Jewell after the accident with the lawnmower and also Boots, our favourite cat of yours.
Apologies for not attending Jewell's funeral but as Jan and I are based in Warkworth we will not be able to make it down to Napier.
