To The McCarthy Family in grief,
Please accept my sympathy for your loss of Colleen.
Colleen was a good and faithful friend to me and many other people.
She listened to people for as long as they needed to talk and she understood their problems. Her advice was very wise.
Colleen was completely dedicated to her family and she tried to help them all as much as she could, and if she wasn't helping then she was praying for them. Her heart was completely with you all.
I really enjoyed Colleen's artistic side. She had a great love for
music and she copied many tapes of music for me. She also loved the story line in movies and all this gave her great pleasure.
I have NEVER heard Colleen complaining about her own personal hardships in life. And over the 30 plus years of Colleen's increasing paralysis, disability and terrible pain I have NEVER heard Colleen say, " Why Me?," or any other negative comment about her condition. She remained concerned always for others.
For me Colleen is a true Hero!
And you all have reason to be very proud of her.
With Love, Mary Minto
