Dear Grace, Sheena & Kenzie, It was with much sadness that Fiona
informed us of Bill's passing. We are now so pleased that we were
able to visit him earlier this year in Taradale.
We have been reminiscing about our two families virtually growing up
together from Waipukurau days & the happy days spent there.
We (with Fiona ) will be fondly following his service, tomorrow &
please accept our apologies for non-attendance.

We were very saddened to hear about your Dads passing Sheena & Kenzie.
Bill was such a lovely kind hearted man, always made us feel welcome when we were at your place growing p. H e was also great at keeping in touch with his Christmas newsletters.
His love for the Lord was very obvious and i fondly remember him always humming happily to himself.
I know hw has ben welcomed into heaven with the words " well done, good and faithful servant"

Dear Sheena, Kenzie, Grace and families, Bill & Heather and you girls were special people in my childhood years growing up in Waipukurau. During our years apart it was always special to receive Bill’s Christmas cheer and recently meeting Grace and seeing Bill, with my parents, just one more time. It was a beautiful reminder that great people leave gentle footprints on our hearts. Such fondness we, the Watters family share of Bill. I was sad to read of Bill’s passing, and I want to extend my heartfelt sympathy to you all as you mourn his death.

Bill was my minister at Anderson's Bay and I also met him several times when he was the hospital chaplain. He was a compassionate and dedicated man of God who provided comfort and strength to so many, myself included. His faith, kindness, and wisdom encouraged us all in our faith.
I will always remember his cheerful spirit, his ability to bring hope in challenging moments, and the way he truly embodied Christ’s love in all he did.
Please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers as you navigate this time of loss. May God’s peace and the love of those around you bring you comfort in the days ahead.

Kenzie, Sheena and family,
My deepest condolences on Bill's passing. I know Mum and Dad held him in very high regard and the my friendship with you Kenzie was so special as a result of our parents relationship.
